Day 9 - Whitewater rafting on the River!
Day 9 - All day on the river (Ahh! Sunburn). We all experienced some level 3+ rapids on the South Fork of the American River. It was very exciting. One boat with Skyler, Ashley, Peter, Loke, and Tony flipped on the first major rapid. We got a little frightened but they were out of the water really quickly and after a few emotions we were back on the river. We loved having Breakfast, lunch and Dinner made for us. We had a very quiet evening with very wore campers.

So some of you got a little wet? Was it like a wet roller coaster ride? Sky, you see...I always knew you had it in you (level 3 river too!!!) Must have been refreshing after all that heat!

Anthony called that night to let me know that his raft flipped and he was OK. The phone connection was terrible and he promised to call me yesterday morning. Still waiting! You are in trouble young man!

Tony holy cow, level 3 river, now I have to do that too... let's see, overnight backpacking with ellie, and now I have to whitewater wtih you??? You'll keep me from drowning right, you're an old pro now! Glad y'all are ok. Water can be scary, but now non of you are "victims" of the water, but survivors! Awesome, God is good, great story of God's provision, can't wait to hear the drama! Thanks guys for all you're doing! Wondered why the last few I've been motivated to pray for safety, will keep that prayer going...
